Hello

I am Jacinda Stroud (she/her), and am the founder, owner and primary consultant and advocate of Root Personal Health.

I am passionate about working closely with patients, hearing their stories, learning their health priorities, and working with them to successfully navigate challenging health issues that arise. I have a deep sense of commitment for quality of life for those I work with. This includes improving and maintaining overall wellness as best as possible.

I am an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). I have worked in healthcare since 2009, and have experience with all ages (newborn babies to adults age 90+). I have worked in hospitals, outpatients clinics, residential care, Emergency Departments, Operating Rooms and beyond

I am trauma informed, LGBTQI+ inclusive and well versed in military culture and veteran care.

A bit about my personal life

Born and raised as the middle child in a family of 5 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, my roots run deep in the enchanting Southwest. I currently reside in Gypsum, Colorado with my spouse, who serves in the military. Together, we find immense joy in the company of our cherished fur babies.

Gymnastics was a significant part of my childhood, shaping my love for movement and instilling in me, the power of our bodies. As an adult, I continue to intentionally engage with various physical activities to support my well-being on a daily basis. From leisurely hikes to invigorating runs, and meditative yoga to empowering kickboxing classes, each one contributes to the health of my mind and body in a different way. Since relocating to Colorado, the legendary mountains have offered the opportunity to start snowboarding. Embracing this new challenge has sparked delight in the cold and snowy months, and also reinforced the value of play and the empowerment of acquiring fresh skills. These activities help bring balance and fulfillment to my life, complementing my everyday experiences in this beautiful corner of Colorado. Regardless of the season or geographic location, nature is my sanctuary, and the place where I find grounding and comfort whenever I feel adrift.

Root Personal Health emerges as a tapestry woven from both my personal and professional experiences, reflecting my unwavering commitment to clients and holistic well-being. Embarking on this new chapter fills me with excitement for the possibilities that lie ahead as I continue to cultivate a life filled with hope, and as much joy as possible.
