Frequently asked questions

  • I currently live in Colorado, high in the Rockies in the Vail Valley. Root does not have a physical office location.

Due to the mobile nature of my spouse’s military career, Root was built with the intention that the majority of services would be offered online. This virtual accessibility makes sense for Root as a business. However, and more importantly, it increases accessibility to many clients, who would otherwise be limited by geographic restraints.

Root provides virtual AND on-site “in person” offerings. Please see our services page for more details.

  • Yes! I offer home and other “in person” meetings. Please see the In-Person section on our services page for more information.

  • Yes. I can attend these with you in person (preferred), or virtually (if location is not reasonably drivable).

  • Virtually, I can serve clients nationwide+.

Most in-person meetings are generally limited to within 50 miles of the Vail Valley, but exceptions can be discussed on a case by case basis. Please see our services page for additional information.

  • Absolutely. Please contact me to discuss how we can connect your loved one to Root’s services.

  • Yes! I have partnered with Solace, to be able to offer a robust, accessible. secure and convenient online platform. The first step is to contact me to schedule an initial complimentary consult.

  • Solace is an internet platform developed specifically to connect health advocacy services and clients.

I have chosen to partner with them to optimize my service offerings, as well as to improve convenience for patients. Additionally, by having a 3rd party oversee scheduling, payments, and browser security, they provide an additional layer of security to Root, as well as all of our clients.

Solace does automatically add a 10% fee to all services booked through them. This charge goes directly to them (not me) and covers their services, which includes their secure health record, medical record retrieval, secure communication etc.

    Solace is not my employer.
